Earlier on this year I submitted a proposal for a project called 'The Super-Slow Way', and was delighted to be commissioned to make a limited edition of ceramic sculptural forms. The project is a celebration of the bicentenary of the Leeds to Liverpool canal which stretches across the Pennines in Northern England.

I looked at the history of the canal and the geography of the landscape as inspiration, and I am in the process of developing the work, which will be available later on this year.
